About Roland Taylor
Roland and his wife, Kathy, have lived in Herndon with their four children for 16 years. Their youngest graduated from Herndon High in 2019, and now they are eager to take the next step in their service to their community.
Roland’s career as a public servant in local law enforcement, provides him extensive experience working with citizens and government leaders. As a United Nation’s senior rule of law leader and while supporting US Department of State in international locations, Roland gained experience living and working with diverse international populations, respecting all cultures and focusing on human rights and protecting endangered population groups.
Based on Roland’s background and his Master’s degree in cyber criminology from Loyola University in New Orleans, he has served as both an Associate and Adjunct Professor of transnational and organized crime. As a federal government program manager, Roland has extensive experience with managing large budgets and personnel.
As both a parent and grandparent, Roland Taylor wishes to give back and offers his service to the Herndon community as its Mayor. Roland sincerely asks for your support and vote as the Town of Herndon’s next Mayor on November 3rd, 2020.
